How to setup FACE

System Pre Requisite for Installing CygnetFACE​

System Requirement for Downloading Cygnet FACE Application:

  • OS : Windows 7  with SP1 or Above
  • Server RAM : 4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM Recommended)
  • Hard Disk Space : Requires 10 GB Disk Space
  • Framework : Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 or Above
  • Resolution : Super-VGA (1366 x 768) or higher resolution monitor

How to setup FACE

  1. Please install Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 from the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=21
  2. User needs to fill registration form by clicking on this URL: https://cygnet-face.com//face-register/
  3. On clicking on submit button, a system generated email will be sent to user consisting link to download software, customer code and first time credentials

4. Please download the FACE Setup zip file from the link sent to your email id from download page and unzip the file on your desktop
5. Double click on FACE setup and follow below
6. Please select license file provided in mail.
7. Select “Server” if you want to create FACE And if you want to create client then please select “Client”.

      1. If you are installing server then you can see server name, if you are installing client then please enter server name. i.e. “CIPL-5PC40\SQLExpressFACE”
      2. Please select “I accept the agreement”. To read agreement please click on agreement.

         8. Please select a valid installation path. We recommend to select different drive.

         9. Please click on Install.

        10. FACE installation Please do not click on “Cancel”

        11. SQL Express will install. Please do not close.

12. Last step. Please click on Finish and FACE application will run.

13. Once you click “Finish” FACE will start. Please use below credential to login.
a. ID: SYS01
b. PW: Admin@123

How to Upgrade

1. Goto “Pricing” page.
2. Select subscription plan you want to upgrade to and make payment.
3. After successfully payment you will get confirmation mail with upgraded license file or you can download it from dashboard.
4. After downloading upgraded license run FACE application and login with valid credentials.
5. Go to “Help->About us” and click on “Upgrade License” button.
6. In the open dialog box, Select upgraded License file and click “Open”.

Note: If you are using old version of FACE application,
You have to first update FACE application then only you will be able to upgrade FACE license.

How to Update

1. If any new update is available in FACE, user will see a new update available popup as below, then user needs to click on the “Update” button:

2. Then a screen as below will appear, after which user needs to click on “Download Button”

3. Once user has clicked on Download button a screen as below will appear, user can pause, resume or cancel the ongoing download.
4. Once download is completed, the FACE application will get restart on its own with the updated setup.

How to Update From older to new version

1. In the mail, you have to click on Download Face Update and unzip file in your system

2. Double click on FACE_Update.exe and follow below steps
3. Please select license file provided in mail.

  • Please select “I accept the agreement”. To read agreement please click on agreement.

4. Please click on Install.

5. Last step. Please click on Finish and FACE application will run.
